Job Title: Experienced Field Service Engineer

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Essex

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Opportunities for overtime available on weekends.

Salary: £35,000 - £43,000 per annum depending on experience + Bonus (Circa £6,000 - £12,000 per annum) + Overtime (Circa £3,000 - £7,000 per annum) + Company Vehicle + Benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our reputable client who specializes in fleet and vehicle management solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the Sales and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in vehicle CCTV, fleet management, telematics, vehicle connectivity, and passenger Wi-Fi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customers' sites to perform installations of vehicle systems.
  • Service and maintain vehicle CCTV, blind spot detection systems, lights, beacons, and other safety equipment for various commercial vehicles.
  • Test and calibrate the equipment to ensure optimum performance.
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality, environmental responsibility, and health and safety, continuously striving for improvement and working without compromise to meet our customers' needs.
Requirements:
  • Experience with 12VDC and 24VDC automotive electrical systems.
  • Previous experience in automotive electrical testing and installation.
  • Must have experience working with HGVs, LGVs, or vans, and a strong passion for working with vehicles.
  • Basic IT skills for inputting data into a system.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
