About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons Fleet Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Early Years Practitioner, you will have the flexibility to work on a bank/locum basis, blending the convenience of agency work with the security and benefits of being an employee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support our nursery team in delivering high-quality Early Years education, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment, promoting child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Contribute to the development of our nursery's curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all children, and supporting the implementation of our educational programs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in Early Years education.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
