About the Role

This position requires a highly skilled professional to oversee the operations of contract drilling or workover rigs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drilling and workover operations, including supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate all operations performed on company wells.
  • Make recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations arise.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to the well site.
  • Verify that contractors meet all requirements of their contracts.
  • Collaborate with drilling and workover engineers to ensure adherence to modern drilling practices.
  • Approve contractor daily tour reports.
  • Ensure that contractor rigs and equipment are properly maintained to minimize downtime.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Superintendent.
  • Ensure compliance with company-established safety standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Permanent relocation to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
  • Completion of ITC: English ERW; Math MI.
  • Thirteen years of relevant experience in drilling and workover operations, including supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Seven years of experience working in drilling and workover operations, including sufficient supervisory experience.
  • Willingness to reside in remote areas in mobile camps.
