About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Digital Experience Senior Specialist to join our Global Technology Department. This remote position will be responsible for managing Charles River's Google Ads accounts across seven business lines and corporate brand.

Solution Overview

The successful candidate will develop, deliver, and implement strategies for Google Ads optimization to meet business and website goals within each business's budgetary requirements. They will identify problem keywords and areas to improve cost savings and enhance targeting using analytics tools. Regular performance reports and proactive recommendations will drive decision-making among marketing team stakeholders on Google Ads best practices.

Main Responsibilities

  • Pull monthly Google Ads performance reports to make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Meet regularly with team members to discuss Google Ads strategies, obtain approvals, and update outstanding tasks.
  • Perform weekly account maintenance, including negative keyword refinement, bid changes, ad disapprovals, and identifying problem keywords.
  • Collaborate with SEO specialists for keyword recommendations.
  • Set up new campaigns according to best practices and existing strategy.
  • Lead the integration of acquisition ads into the existing account in case of an acquisition.
  • Educate team members on Google Ads best practices, including adherence to internal Google Ads workflows.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess 5+ years of directly related Google Ads experience. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications, marketing, advertising, or a related field is also required. Your expertise in setting up and managing Google search, display, shopping, and video ads is essential. Additionally, you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, SEMRush, and Microsoft Office products.
