Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and review safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and subcontractors on health and safety best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safety measures are integrated into project plans.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Experience in a construction environment or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is £40,000 - £55,000, depending on experience.
