About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our team at Casa di Lusso, our purpose-built 88-bed Dementia Nursing Home in Bridgwater. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily needs, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and respect.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  2. Assist with meal times, including serving, feeding, and cleaning up
  3. Help with activities of daily living, such as mobility, transfers, and medication
  4. Document all tasks carried out, maintaining accurate records of resident care
  5. Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
  • Reliable and punctual with a commitment to duty
