We are seeking a qualified Maths specialist to join our team at a fantastic specialist school that supports children with SEMH and trauma needs. The school has a number of sites around the UK and is looking for a teacher who can deliver an inspiring Maths curriculum that enables all pupils to make good progress, enjoy and achieve.

The ideal candidate will have a Maths specialism and experience working with students with SEMH. They will be responsible for planning and delivering a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students can excel academically, grow personally, and prepare for their future lives.

The role involves:

  • Planning and delivering a Maths curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils
  • Assessing pupil work and progress, giving regular feedback and using this to continuously inform teaching
  • Reporting on pupil progress in line with school policy
  • Maintaining a stimulating, engaging and safe learning environment that allows pupils to focus on learning
  • Positively managing behaviour in line with school policy
  • Undertaking a pastoral and support role as required

The school offers a part-time position, up to 4 days a week, 8:45am - 4:45pm, term time only. The role is temporary, with the possibility of progressing to a permanent placement.
