Transport Planner Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our dynamic team at DB Schenker. As a Transport Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring top-tier service delivery that exceeds customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer-Focused Excellence: Prioritize and understand customer requirements for exceptional service delivery.
  • Efficient Transport Operations: Plan, monitor, and control end-to-end Land Transport shipments, emphasizing meticulous documentation.
  • Communication and Coordination: Maintain regular communication with drivers and coordinate effectively with internal teams.
  • Digital Operations Proficiency: Proficiently operate Schenker IT Systems and MS Office tools for streamlined operations.
  • Strategic Pricing and Rates: Collaborate with the Department Manager to produce accurate pricing and rates, contributing to financial success.
  • Timely Financial Transactions: Ensure timely generation of Sales Invoicing and efficient processing of costs (purchase invoices).
