Pertemps Network Catering is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead our team at one of the UK's leading Outdoor Activity Centres.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to manage our catering operation, providing high-quality meals and exceptional customer service to our guests. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a team of up to 15 staff, including a Head Chef, Front of House Manager, and kitchen staff
- Ensuring correct procedures are followed, meals are prepared on time, and high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained
- Organizing rotas and ensuring adequate staffing levels
- Coordinating with suppliers and managing inventory
- Developing and implementing menus and catering plans
- Monitoring and controlling food costs and inventory levels
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and food allergen procedures
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of working in a busy contract catering environment
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays
