**Job Title:** Ecologist for Sustainable Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our Cornwall-based ecological consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping environmentally responsible rail projects across the South West.

**About the Role:*

  • Lead and deliver species, habitat surveys and mitigation plans to minimize environmental impact.
  • Provide expertise on protected species and ecological legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on major rail projects to achieve project goals.

**Requirements:*

  • Degree in Ecology or a related field.
  • At least 3-4 years' experience, preferably in rail infrastructure projects.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel locally.
