About the Role:
The Business Development team at Tony Gee and Partners is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Assistant to join their team in the Esher office. As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Senior Marketing Manager with corporate marketing and promotion initiatives, as well as interfacing with senior staff across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sitting within the Business Development Group to deliver its responsibilities and objectives across all international regions.
- Supporting the functions of the Senior Marketing Manager with corporate marketing and promotion initiatives.
- Interfaces with senior staff across the business.
- Work on internal and external promotional events.
- Production of marketing literature, including capability statements, brochures, promotional material and advertisements.
- Preparing web content for our external platforms and intranet.
- Secondary responsibilities will be to support other BD Group team members.
Required Skills:
- The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with teams in a diverse range of forums and environments.
- Possess a sound knowledge of marketing and promotional activities.
- Excellent organisation skills to deal with multiple activities simultaneously.
- Ability to meet defined deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to input creatively into marketing initiatives.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a business development team in the UK and international regions.
- To present a positive image internally across the business.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and 365.
- Willingness to work flexibly to ensure workload is managed effectively.
- Willingness to look for better ways of working whilst considering best practice processes.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of using Adobe Creative Suite especially Indesign.
- Experience of client management systems or other pursuit management systems and processes.
- An appreciation of digital and social media marketing.
- Experience in creating digital media.
- Working knowledge of HTML coding and web-design, Wordpress in particular.
Qualifications:
- Marketing or related Degree achieved at University.
- Other non degree related qualifications will also be considered.
