Residential Childcare Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate care worker to join our team at 21HSC. This is a temporary/ad-hoc position with full and part-time hours available, offering competitive pay rates £18,000 - £22,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting or with additional support needs. A relevant qualification such as SVQ 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) and/or HNC in Social Services would be an advantage. As a Residential Childcare Professional, you will contribute to providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable individuals, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care and support to residents, ensuring their dignity, safety, and comfort.
- Develop and implement person-centered care plans, tailored to each resident's unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and young people, ideally in a residential setting or with additional support needs.
- Relevant qualifications such as SVQ 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) and/or HNC in Social Services.
Working Conditions:
- Temporary/ad-hoc position with full and part-time hours available.
- Varying shifts, including early, late, long day, waking night, and sleepover rotations.
