As an Import Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating import operations, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with import and trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate import operations, including sourcing, repairs, and return material authorisation (RMA), to optimise the importation process.
- Support Customs Compliance by controlling the IPR process from RMA to Bill of Discharge, working closely with import brokers to ensure compliance with import and trade regulations.
- Organise and maintain comprehensive shipment records, ensuring that documentation is complete and accessible for audit purposes.
- Verify and review shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs requirements.
- Manufacturing sector experience is essential.
- Proven import process experience for a manufacturing organisation with IPR (Inward Processing Relief) process experience.
- Established experience of import processes within a manufacturing environment, including Returned Goods Relief.
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
