SEND School Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND School Teacher to join our team in a Good Ofsted rated Specialist Independent School in Gillingham, Kent. This is a full-time, long-term position that offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a diverse group of students aged 11-19 with EHCPs, some of whom are at risk of permanent exclusion. They will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of the students, while also managing their behaviour effectively.
The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), experience working with children with SEND (minimum 12 months), and hold a valid Child and Adult DBS check or be willing to obtain one. They should also have up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum and excellent classroom management skills.
The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
