Electrical Installation Specialist

Our client, a reputable manufacturer in Heywood, is seeking an experienced Installation Electrician to join their installation team. As part of this team, you will work at customer sites throughout the UK, fitting and installing various control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing cable containment, mounting mechanical equipment, running and fitting cables, and making final terminations as per cable schedules or schematics. Additionally, they will be required to earth plant equipment in accordance with BS7671 and test the electrical installation for function and electrical safety prior to full electrical installation test. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Install cable containment
* Mount various mechanical equipment
* Run and fit cables
* Gland cables using stuffing glands and all industrial type glands
* Make final terminations as per cable schedules or schematics
* Earth plant equipment in accordance with BS7671
* Test the electrical installation for function and electrical safety prior to full electrical installation test

**Requirements:**

* Strong understanding of electrical systems
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
