Kitchen Porter Position

Job Description:
Prominent food preparation and storage rules must be followed, particularly HACCP guidelines, to ensure the highest food quality. The candidate will be checking food deliveries upon receipt to ensure that only the best produce is accepted. Food storage must be in compliance with food safety regulations, and the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) stock rotation system must be implemented.
Main Responsibilities:
- Adhere to food hygiene regulations and check in all food deliveries.
- Store food and equipment in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Clean all equipment and surfaces during service hours.
- Prepare the service area and assist in other kitchen areas during downtime.
- Maintain personal hygiene and appearance according to company standards.
- Assist with implementing and promoting the company's health and safety policy.
