We are seeking an experienced Psychology teacher to join our team at a fantastic school in Barnet. As a dedicated professional, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students and contribute to their personal and academic growth.

  • Deliver engaging and interactive Psychology lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans considering individual student needs and learning styles.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment promoting a love for learning and student engagement.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Monitor and track student progress identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure holistic student development.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Psychology research and incorporate it into teaching practices.
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Psychology at secondary education level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to diverse student needs.
  • Passion for education and desire to make a positive impact on students.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time role with opportunities for professional development and career advancement within the Wayman Group.
