About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at BAM UK & Ireland. As a key member of our Soft Services team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of our Soft FM provision across various contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support and expertise to the wider business to ensure successful delivery of FM services.
  • Manage and coordinate all elements of Soft FM provision, including procurement and sub-contractor management.
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve cost-effective and efficient service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
  • Manage and maintain effective team working relationships between BAM FM and client teams.
  • Recruit and manage staff to ensure contract requirements are met.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure contract compliance and report results to relevant managers.
  • Manage scheduled and reactive activities in line with contracted key performance indicators.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date records in accordance with legislative and company requirements.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the management of Soft Services.
  • Membership of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management.
  • Qualifications in BICSc or equivalent.
  • Health & Safety certification (IOSH or NEBOSH essential or willingness to undertake).
  • Competent knowledge of IT packages (Concept desirable).
  • Excellent organisational, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 (PVG) in relation to this type of work is applicable for children.
  • Enhanced DBS check will be required.
