Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and friendly Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide emotional support to our young residents, some of whom may display challenging behaviours, emotional and social difficulties. You will work collaboratively with our team to create a warm and nurturing environment that promotes the welfare and well-being of our children.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily needs of our young residents, including getting them washed, dressed, and ready for school.
  • Plan and facilitate engaging activities and outings, such as theme parks, bowling alleys, cinemas, and zoos, to promote social skills and confidence.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the home, working closely with our Registered Home Manager to ensure a warm and welcoming environment.
