Business Services Team Overview

The Business Services team is a key component of our firm, providing comprehensive business support to a diverse range of businesses and charities. Our team offers a full spectrum of outsourced services, including management accounting, VAT, payroll, company secretarial, HR consulting, and regulatory reporting.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our Outsourcing Team. As an Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for providing quality accounting services to our clients, including planning, executing, and completing accounting work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare management accounts and statutory financial reports, including consolidated accounts, from manual and computerized accounting records
* Provide general accounting services and assistance to clients, including preparing working papers for management or statutory accounts
* Recommend improvements to clients' accounting systems and controls
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements

* Good GCSE results with a minimum of grade B/level 5 in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
* Experience of preparing statutory and management accounts
* AAT qualified or ACCA part qualified, or equivalent
* Experience with QuickBooks Online and Xero
* Ideally experience in implementation of Cloud-based accounting software
* MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Accounting software knowledge and experience - Sage, QuickBooks Online or Xero (desirable)
* Knowledge and experience with other accounting add-ons (compatible with Cloud accounting software, for example, Dext, FUTRLI, Fathom and Expensify)
* Advanced Excel skills (desirable)
