Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Programme Manager to join our team at LA International. As a key member of our programme delivery team, you will be responsible for driving programme strategy, identifying long-term objectives and ensuring a cohesive view of the programme's progress and alignment with business goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Delivery:
    • Drive programme strategy, identifying long-term objectives and ensuring a cohesive view of the programme's progress and alignment with business goals.
    • Collaborate with leaders to define and implement a 2-3 year roadmap for programme timelines and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Management and Communication:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the bank, ensuring clear communication and alignment on programme goals.
    • Act as the liaison between business and technology teams, balancing priorities and resource needs across both areas.
  • Resource and Cost Management:
    • Manage resource allocation, overseeing internal and external team members, as well as technology and business resources.
    • Develop and maintain a cost management structure, ensuring all resources are used efficiently to deliver within budget constraints.
  • Technology and Business Alignment:
    • Deliver technology solutions that align with business requirements, ensuring successful integration across both domains.
    • Demonstrate strong technology acumen to facilitate the translation of business needs into technological solutions that meet programme objectives.
  • Governance and Compliance:
    • Lead governance activities to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Oversee risk management processes, including operational and control risks, and ensure that the programme adheres to corporate governance standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Oversee external reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate communication with relevant business units and regulatory bodies.
    • Provide analysis and insights on programme performance, addressing issues, escalating as needed, and offering solutions to mitigate risks.
Requirements:

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience working within global banking.
  • Proven expertise in regulatory programme management, focusing on operational risks and control risks.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in stakeholder management, with a focus on managing complex relationships at Director level and above.
  • Strong governance knowledge, ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with both regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Ability to drive digital and technology change, with a balance between business acumen and technology expertise.
  • Experienced in budgeting, resource coordination, cost-benefit analysis, risk and control management, and issue escalation.
Qualifications:

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) are preferred.
  • Extensive experience in corporate governance, change management, and regulatory programme delivery.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
