ATA Recruitment has a contract opportunity for an Automation Specialist to work on-site in Burnley, Blackburn, Preston, Manchester, or Rochdale.

About the Role:

This is an initial 3-month contract with a high chance of extension. The Automation Specialist will be responsible for developing software code, installing new software, and managing project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop software code on two HMI conversions using Mitsubishi
  • Install new software on site
  • Develop and edit code from scratch
  • Manage project lifecycle from development through commissioning and handover
Requirements:
  • Experience working in the food industry on complex projects
  • Strong background in coding (editing and development)
  • Mitsubishi and/or VIA experience
  • Excellent communication skills
