As a Support Tutor, you will be part of our education team, focusing on supporting delivery and thorough administration of courses, including:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with support, marking, and delivery of all programs when appropriate, including CPD when required.
  • Supporting learners in course completion by managing risk registers and ensuring learner progress, including learners with ALN.
  • Supporting the Functional Skills components of learning.
  • Assessment, tutorial, and supporting the progress of online learners as necessary.
  • To attend courses on the first day to offer support.
  • Filing and organising documents such as the Individual learner record and individual learning plan, compiling course folders, and scanning correspondences.

This role is key to us maintaining high completion rates and demonstrating a commitment to supporting all our learners in their journey. We are looking for a qualified and experienced individual who can provide high-quality educational support and mentoring to our learners.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Gym Instructor QCF qualification.
  • Level 3 Personal Training QCF qualification.
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
  • Availability to work weekends.
  • Level 2/3/4 in Delivering, Information, Advice, and Guidance - desirable.
  • Level 3 Assessors award - desirable.
  • Level 3/4 SEN Qualification - desirable.
