Role: Supervising Social Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the well-being of foster children and providing comprehensive support to foster families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to foster parents, empowering them to create safe, loving, and nurturing homes for children.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions with foster parents, assessing their needs and offering tailored support.
  • Ensure that foster families are fully compliant with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for children in foster care.
  • Advocate for the best interests of children, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
  • Participate in case conferences and other meetings to discuss the progress and well-being of children in care.
Qualifications
  • A recognized Social Work qualification.
  • Registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in working with foster families and children in care.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding the welfare of children.
