About the Role:

Hoare Lea is an award-winning engineering consultancy seeking a Building Physics Innovation Lead to join our dynamic team. As a pioneer in sustainability design, we provide innovative solutions to complex engineering and design challenges for buildings.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead cutting-edge projects and contribute to the growth and development of our Sustainability Group. With a focus on human-centred, environmentally sustainable design, you will have the chance to work on diverse projects across various sectors, including workplace, science & research, healthcare, mission critical, culture, education, sport, and residential.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex building physics projects, delivering high-quality results under pressure.
  • Develop and implement innovative building performance simulation techniques.
  • Collaborate with industry experts to achieve ever greater standards of environmental sustainability.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our Sustainability Group.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and expertise.

About You:

We are looking for a talented individual with a Master's degree or PhD in Engineering or a Science-related field. You will have experience working within the built environment sector and be passionate about creating sustainable solutions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts in a simple, effective way are essential.

A competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum is on offer, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including a contributory pension scheme, private medical scheme, life assurance, and income protection.
