We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to join our team at Gold Group Ltd. As an MEP Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of mechanical and electrical services on a luxury residential project in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Plan and coordinate the installation of mechanical and electrical services, including coordination with suppliers, subcontractors, architects, stakeholders, and consultants.
- Budgeting and Cost Management: Oversee the budgeting process for all mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring costs are accurately estimated and managed throughout the project life cycle.
- Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractors' installations, ensuring they meet design requirements and installations are delivered as per specifications and industry standards.
- Procurement and Contract Negotiation: Provide advice and guidance throughout the procurement process, assigning appropriate materials, equipment, and subcontractors to relevant installations, and negotiate contracts.
- Risk Management and Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues relating to mechanical and electrical installations, anticipating challenges, providing contingency plans, and solutions.
Requirements
- Experience working on mechanical or electrical projects, overseeing multiple teams on building projects in the UK.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
