Education Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support Year 3 and Year 4 students in their learning journey at TimePlan Education.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting children within a classroom setting, preferably at Key Stage 2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with pupils, staff, and parents are essential. A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to education is also required.
The role involves providing dedicated support to pupils during lessons, helping them achieve their best. You will assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons, support the development of literacy, numeracy, and social skills, and work with small groups or individual students, adapting to their specific needs.
A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment is key to success in this role. Relevant qualifications in education or child development (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3) are desirable, as is knowledge of strategies to support pupils with additional needs or SEN.
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, term time only, with a salary range of £9,000-£10,000 per year (£90-£100 per day), depending on experience.
