Job Title: Saw Operator

We are seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join our client's Workshop team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the saw effectively and efficiently to meet production targets.
  • Work from technical drawings to ensure accurate cutting and fabrication.
  • Minimize waste and optimize material usage.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment.
  • Maintain and repair saws and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience operating a saw in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Practical knowledge of materials and ability to read technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and lift heavy equipment.
  • Maintenance experience and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
