We are seeking dedicated and compassionate support workers to join Carepro Ltd UK in Wakefield. If you are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children, young people, and their families, especially during times of crisis, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to Children, Young People, and Families in need, including those in crisis situations
  • Deliver immediate crisis intervention and emotional support to individuals facing difficult circumstances
  • Work closely with local authorities, schools, and other professionals to ensure holistic care
  • Engage families in support plans, helping them to achieve positive outcomes even in high-pressure environments
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of Children and Young People, particularly during emergencies
  • Work in accordance with local and national safeguarding policies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Children, Young People, or Families in a support role, with experience in crisis intervention preferred
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in high-stress situations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a calm and supportive approach in emergencies
  • A good understanding of safeguarding principles
  • Enhanced DBS check for children and adults is required
  • Ability to provide 3 years of references
  • PMVA
