Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services in Perth. As a Security Officer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining safety and security in the community.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in customer service and teamwork, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a security-related role. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately documenting and reporting incidents, and collaborating with other security officers to maintain a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and ensure a welcoming and secure environment
- Accurately document and report all incidents, observations, and daily activities
- Collaborate with other security officers to maintain a safe environment and support each other during patrols and emergency situations
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, monitor surveillance equipment, and address any suspicious activity or security breaches
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations, following established protocols to ensure the safety and security of all personnel and property
Requirements:
- Current, valid SIA Licence
- Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history
- Must live within a commutable distance (max. 45 minutes) to site and be able to get to shifts on time
- 1 year of Security experience
- IT literate
- Proficient in speaking and writing the English language
- Flexible in your approach to working
- Well-presented to represent the Securitas name
