Airport Security Professional

- Ensure secure access to restricted areas of Belfast City Airport.
- Conduct thorough checks of staff and passenger identification and boarding cards.
- Prepare individuals and items for security screening.
- Carry out thorough searches of people and objects entering restricted areas.
- Operate x-ray equipment to scan items entering the restricted area.
- Respond to incidents on site, following established procedures.
- Provide escort services as required.
- Conduct patrols of designated areas.
- Comply with relevant Civil Aviation Authority regulations and understand Belfast City Airport local procedures and working practices.
- Complete required Security Training, adhering to CAA standards.
- Exhibit a customer-centric attitude, aiming to create a pleasant experience for all airport visitors.
- Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, remaining calm in stressful situations.
- Demonstrate strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify potential security risks.
- Show adaptability in responding to changing situations and adhering to strict security protocols.
- Possess physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform routine security tasks.
- Provide proof of National Insurance.
- Provide proof of current address.
- Undergo a basic criminal record check, in line with CAA requirements.
Please note that this role is only suitable for individuals who have continuously resided in the UK for the last 3 years.
Successful applicants will be required to complete a two-stage interview process, consisting of a Teams interview and a face-to-face interview.
Due to the nature of the role, successful candidates will be required to provide a 5-year checkable history.
