We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to work for our client based in Stowmarket.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, maintaining relationships with customers, and enforcing credit policies.
- Maintain accurate records of customer payments and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues related to credit management.
- Utilise credit referencing software to evaluate creditworthiness and make informed decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure seamless communication.
- Conduct regular reviews of customer credit limits and propose adjustments as necessary.
- Prepare and distribute reports on credit performance to senior management.
- Work closely with external parties to recover debts and negotiate settlements.
- Manage the process of issuing Letters of Credit and monitoring their status.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with bad debt.
About the Salary:
The salary for this role is estimated to be £27,500 per annum, reflecting the company's commitment to offering competitive remuneration packages.
