Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Power Systems Specialist to join our team in Hampshire. As a Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Generator Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs on generators, UPS, control systems, and related equipment.

You will conduct load bank testing, site surveys, and inspections of critical power systems, assist in the installation and commissioning of various critical power equipment, and install temporary/hire equipment, including generator sets and UPS on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of power systems.
  2. Conduct thorough investigations to diagnose and resolve faults in power systems.
  3. Test and verify the functionality of power systems to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
  4. Assist in the planning and execution of complex power system installations.
  5. Collaborate with customers to understand their power system needs and provide expert advice.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with power generation and distribution systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Salary and Benefits:
