Located in Norfolk, we are offering a competitive salary range of £47,000 - £55,000.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Structural Revit Technician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our design team, you will work on various building and civil engineering projects, including education, retail, commercial, industrial, office spaces, medical, and research facilities.

You will be responsible for providing structural modeling and technical detailing, collaborating closely with architectural designers to deliver cohesive design solutions.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the UK construction sector
  • HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Key Skills & Knowledge

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Building Regulations
  • Structural Steelwork Modeling/Detailing
  • Reinforced Concrete Modeling/Detailing
  • General Construction and Engineering Detailing
  • Computer-Aided Design Software (AutoCAD, REVIT)
  • Requirements of ISO19650 and other BIM standards
Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Generating design output using BIM software like REVIT, adhering to industry BIM standards and protocols
  2. Producing working drawings, reports, and specifications ensuring compliance with National/International Standards and project brief
  3. Collaborating with Engineers and designers to determine design data format and technical content required for the project
  4. Aiding in developing drawing/BIM standards and QA procedures associated with BIM
  5. Incorporating manufacturer's details into working drawings and models
  6. Ensuring dimensional accuracy and compliance with all relevant project drawings
  7. Conducting site visits and measured surveying to verify dimensional compatibility
  8. Mentoring, supporting, and supervising Trainees/Technicians
  9. Communicating effectively with the design team to establish program and key dates for information issuance
  10. Contributing to fee calculations by evaluating detailing/modelling resources required for the project
