Materials Management Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Materials Manager to oversee the supply chain and logistics operations at JRL Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing materials handling, warehouse operations, and ensuring efficient business processes related to inventory management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize material management processes
  • Coordinate with suppliers and sites to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Utilize systems for inventory tracking and ordering
  • Coordinate current and forecast stock levels for factory use
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers for efficient material flow

The successful candidate will have a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, as well as proven experience in materials management, warehouse operations, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, materials handling, and business processes is essential, along with familiarity with computer systems and trackers, and excellent data analysis skills to interpret inventory data effectively.

**Salary:** £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Colwick, Nottingham, with hours from 07:00am - 17:00pm, Monday to Friday.
