We are seeking an individual to join our Building Safety Compliance Team at Community Housing. The successful candidate will work directly with the Safety Compliance Manager and be responsible for delivering and effectively running Community Housing’s fire, asbestos, water, and estate safety in accordance with regulatory undertakings.

  • Managing programmed works to ensure timely completion and statutory compliance obligations.
  • Preparing and reviewing data from compliance management systems to identify themes and trends.
  • Adjusting work programmes, keeping customers informed, and updating the Compliance Management Team to meet performance targets.
  • Providing advice and technical support on fire, asbestos, water, and estate compliance to internal and external colleagues.
  • Providing budget figures on a monthly basis for commitment and spend on fire, asbestos, and water.
  • Leading internal compliance projects as required.
  • Carrying out effective management and administration of compliance contracts.
  • Ensuring overall health and safety responsibility and compliance with legislative requirements for all activities.
  • Monitoring and recording compliance activities in a timely manner within the asset management system.

The ideal candidate will have specific knowledge of Fire, Asbestos, and Legionella, a track record of managing compliance programmes, and knowledge of related housing regulations/law.

Community Housing is a social business and one of Worcestershire's largest Registered Providers of social housing. We manage around 6000 homes and offer a range of services to help people live independently.
