We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Childcare level 3 practitioner to join our team at SGS Care Ltd. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to children and young people aged 7 to 17 in a new home designed for Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD).

The ideal candidate will have experience working with child protection procedures, residential childcare, and NVQ Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Support the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social needs of children.">
  • Develop secure, caring relationships with children.">
  • Implement admission protocols and care plans.">
  • Fulfil health, education, and training needs of children.">
  • Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities.">
  • Collaborate with professionals to support children's needs and advocate for their rights.">
  • Work shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, with sleep-ins required.">

Requirements

NVQ Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.

">

Minimum 1 year in a childcare setting, experience with child protection procedures, and residential childcare.

UK Driving Licence.

Benefits

">

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per annum.

">

Overtime available to increase salary if required.

">

Average annual salary estimate: £28,500 based on a 40-hour workweek excluding sleep ins.

">

Working Hours

">

Over Mon - Sun, including BH, 40 hours per week excluding sleep ins.

">

Sleep ins paid at £50 per sleep.
