Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer to join the Strodes team on a term-time, full-time basis. As a key member of the Student Services team, you will provide essential support to the college community in safeguarding cases, working closely with external agencies and attending meetings on behalf of the college.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to students with safeguarding concerns, working collaboratively with external agencies to ensure effective outcomes.
- Attend meetings on behalf of the college, representing the institution and promoting a positive image.
- Collaborate with safeguarding leaders to promote student wellbeing and a positive mindset, contributing to the administration of behaviour management procedures.
- Assist in implementing an effective wellbeing strategy for staff and students, collecting data and reporting on safeguarding, wellbeing, and student participation.
- Maintain clear communication and consistency of approach with other safeguarding teams, representing the college at external multiagency meetings.
- Provide front-line wellbeing support for students, making referrals and managing a caseload of students with varying support requirements.
- Take on the role of designated safeguarding officer on a rota basis, ensuring the college's safeguarding policies and procedures are upheld.
