Job Title: Director - Chartered Financial Planner

Location: Birmingham

Job Overview:

Mbf. is seeking a seasoned Chartered Financial Planner to join our team as a Director in our Birmingham office. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior professional to take on a leadership role and manage a prestigious portfolio of high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Expert Financial Advice: Provide tailored financial planning solutions to high-net-worth clients, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with Investment Managers, Financial Planners, and Paraplanning/Support teams to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Maintain Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, offering first-class service and bespoke financial planning solutions.
  • Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date with relevant regulatory and industry changes to deliver technically sound and compliant advice.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Financial Planner Qualification: Essential for this role.
  • Experience: Proven track record in advising high-net-worth clients, with expertise in areas such as divorce settlements, inheritance tax, pensions, and other specialist planning areas.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of complex financial planning issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable working in a flexible environment, with a regular presence in the Birmingham office to foster internal collaboration.
