Job Title: Academic SEN Tutor

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Academic SEN Tutor to join our team at Remedy Education. As an Academic SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and learning support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary special school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and support children with SEN in a primary special school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of children with SEN
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children with SEN
  • Assess and monitor the progress of children with SEN and report to parents and carers
  • Contribute to the development of the school's SEN policy and procedures
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience of working with children with SEN in a primary special school setting
  • Knowledge of SEN legislation and policies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
