Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Vacancies. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our pupils, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEND, helping them to develop and achieve their full potential
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote pupil progress and well-being

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with pupils, teachers, and other staff members
  • Knowledge of SEND and its impact on pupil learning and development
  • Experience of working in a school setting, preferably in a teaching assistant role
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
