Camp Director

Earn up to £605 per week in a rewarding role leading our school holiday activity day camps.

About the Role:

As a Camp Director, you will oversee a team of coaching staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality experiences for children aged 5-17. Your responsibilities include administration, preparation, communication, planning, and ensuring the venue is ready before the season begins.

During the season, you will be onsite from 8am to 5:30pm as the first-point of contact for staff, children, parents, venue, and our central office team. You will be the designated safeguarding lead at the venue, dealing with concerns, completing paperwork, risk assessments, responding to feedback, recording incidents, and managing OFSTED requirements.

We are looking for energetic and passionate individuals to join our team in 2024 and beyond. Our camps run throughout the school holidays, providing a unique chance to gain leadership experience in an out-of-school setting while keeping active and having fun.

Job Requirements:

• Available between 8am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday, during the school holidays
• 12 months' experience working with children and young people
• Experience in a management or leadership position
• Childcare, sports, or teaching-related degree (or related qualification)
• Knowledge and experience of Child Protection, Safeguarding, and Health and Safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate
• Safeguarding experience and understanding
• Organised and able to follow policy and procedure
• Vibrant, resilient, team player
• Flexible and adaptable
