Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons to students using a range of teaching techniques and resources.
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans to cater to different learning styles.
  • Provide regular feedback and assessment of students' progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices.
  • Participate in school activities and initiatives, such as parent-teacher conferences and extracurricular programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching Physics at the secondary level.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices.

Estimated Salary Range: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
