Job Title: Mobile Catering Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Mobile Catering Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for assisting the cook in producing hot and cold food in accordance with menu requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the cook in preparing and serving food to customers
  • Ensure that portion control is monitored to the required standard
  • Set up and dismantle the dining area
  • Wash up and perform other related tasks
  • Ensure the kitchen and dining area are clean and presented to a high standard
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu and special offers to provide relevant information to customers
  • Ensure compliance with COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations
  • Participate in on-the-job training and implement best practices in the kitchen
  • Perform other duties as required by the Cook Supervisor to ensure the effective running of the unit
Requirements:
  • Genuine interest in customer service excellence
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Catering experience is desirable but not essential
  • No qualifications are necessary as full training will be provided
  • Ability to travel and willingness to work flexible hours
  • Own transport is essential
