About the Role

At EKFB, we're shaping the future of infrastructure. Our joint venture brings together international expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction, and BAM Nuttall. We're currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for carrying out tasks independently, leading a small group of commercial staff, and preparing variation accounts, interim valuations, and final accounts. You'll also monitor cost against targets and contract progress against accepted programmes and work plans.

You'll provide input into change control procedures, negotiate and progress the resolution of disputes, and identify potential commercial risks. Additionally, you'll evaluate options for their control and management.

About You

  • Quantity Surveying degree or similar
  • Enrolled in, or seeking membership of, a relevant professional institution (CICES, RICS, or similar)
  • Successful experience at Quantity Surveyor level, displaying skill in delivering a positive commercial outcome for the project(s) with which you have been associated
  • The ability to listen, learn, and take on board new concepts, while mentoring junior team members
