Machining Technologist

VANRATH is recruiting a skilled CNC Turner for a precision engineering company. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality components, working closely with engineers and production teams to optimise machining processes.

The company operates from a modern 6,000-8,000 sq. ft. facility equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, most of which is less than six years old.

• Program, set, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components.
• Machining: Work to technical drawings and tight tolerances, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and production teams to optimise machining processes and improve productivity.

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner within a precision engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of CNC turning processes, tooling, and GD&T principles.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency with specific controls, e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazatrol, is advantageous.
