Job Description:
Aubay UK seeks an experienced Data Architect Specialist to join its team. The role is pivotal in shaping the data architecture landscape for financial services clients. You will lead the design of large-scale data solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. This requires 5-6 years of experience in the data space, particularly within financial institutions or regulated environments.

Key responsibilities include designing and delivering data architecture patterns, such as Data Lakes, Streaming & Analytics, Data Fabric, and Data Mesh. Hands-on experience with big data processing technologies, including Spark (PySpark and SparkScala) and Apache Airflow, is also required. Additionally, expertise in distributed databases and computing environments, understanding of APIs and their integration with data systems, and proven ability to work across multiple teams are essential.

The successful candidate will lead the design and development of large-scale data solutions, ensuring they meet business objectives and adhere to regulatory standards. They will also offer technical expertise and guidance to various data teams, supporting the execution of data strategies across projects and initiatives.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
