Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join our client, a leading manufacturing business in Wakefield. This is a key role that will support the Finance Manager and wider team in delivering high-quality financial information.

Job Overview

Our client is a well-established entity in the manufacturing industry with a strong presence across Europe. With over 40 sites globally, they have positioned themselves at the forefront of their market and continue to grow year-on-year.

Description

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Manage the processing of invoices and payments.
  • Be responsible for reporting for certain sites - P&L and CapEx.
  • Post journals and accruals.
  • Provide support in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare financial reports for internal use.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist with the preparation of VAT returns.
  • Support the Finance Manager in ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

A successful candidate should have:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus ACCA/CIMA study support, study leave, 35 hour working week, flexible start and finish times, on-site parking, company pension, and hybrid working.
