Project Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Real Estate team in Nottingham, delivering construction and refurbishment schemes in the Education sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project management commissions, ensuring end-to-end service delivery.
  • Act as the key client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality targets.
Scope

Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale and value, up to £40m in value. They advise at a strategic level, establish success criteria, and manage quality, safety, health, and environment issues.

Project Management
  • Advising on project conception, including strategic approaches to achieve client objectives.
  • Leading the establishment of project success criteria, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • Planning and managing quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
  • Establishing project governance, processes, and systems.
  • Project planning, including detailed project planning.
  • Advising on resource procurement.
  • Leading and facilitating the cross-functional project team.
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques.
  • Managing change control and project finances.
  • Managing project information flow between the team and client.
  • Ensuring formal project progress and other reports.
Marketing and Business Development
  • Developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Identifying and acting on cross-selling opportunities.
  • Constructing bids for new work with Associate Directors and Directors.
  • Attending client pitches with Assistant Directors and Directors.
  • Ensuring project case study, photograph, and project CV files are up to date.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve project management products and services.
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
