Data Science & Modelling Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science & Modelling Specialist to join our Analytics & Insight team.



About the Role

This is a critical opportunity for an experienced data analyst to work closely with our Account Lead/Director in delivering high-quality analytics projects. As a Data Science & Modelling Specialist, you will be responsible for data processing, client modelling, analysis, and reporting, as well as coaching junior team members.



Key Responsibilities

  • Support Account Lead/Director in day-to-day running of technical aspects of analytics projects.
  • Be responsible for data processing on own projects and begin to take the lead in client analysis and reporting.
  • Take a major role in presenting client presentations, showcasing confidence and understanding of their business and key concerns.
  • Ensure analytics are fully integrated across the entire client team in the agency.
  • Candidate coaching and development, where applicable, to maximise junior team members' potential at EssenceMediacom.


Requirements

  • Experience in market mix modelling is a must.
  • An analytical mindset, able to approach issues and challenges from a variety of angles.
  • High numeracy with strong mathematical acumen.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Good knowledge of typical tools and techniques used in marketing analytics.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint user.
  • Advanced Eviews or other modelling software.
  • Knowledge of programming language (e.g. R, Python) is desirable.
